Rain Mist cold weather doesn't stop the work on the stadium for long
,I love the look of the stadium here ....when it was really raining hard, there was not much activity hanging on to the stadium, but the "rock climbers " as I call them were doggedly working on
Notice the colour of the roof aqua marine and the stadium looks very grey in the rain
On my way past this evening at 6.30 PM
I imagine the PVC mesh dries out quite fast and should be pretty clean now that its been bucketing down today

New Green Point Stadium as seen at different times of the day

there are 2 and a half strips of PVC Mesh on this side (7 on the other side) which is just out of sight around the corner
Its during sunset but the sun keeps hiding behind clouds here it just came out the sky is colouring red behind me over the Atlantic ocean and casts a dark glow on the stadium

This is what it looks like behind me on Siganl Hill and Lions Head is almost hidden by the clouds The tall building is the Ritz hotel

Sanding and painting the new Green Point Stadium in Cape Town
I am a few days away from Cape Town and will not be able to show Stadium updates till Monday
but tomorrow I will show some shots from Pezula Resort Hotel in Knysna where the French team will be staying in 2010
The shots are from a couple of days ago especially in the top image you can see the metal needs a lick of paint
