2010 new World Cup Green Point Stadium, Cape Town, South Africa.

I would like to learn how to make a photo look like  a "painting"
but I have only Picasa and Picnik
to play with and there is no option as far as I know to do that

Have a Great weekend !

1.'s all about lighting, lighting, lighting - also composition, choice of subject, even the lens - and ultimately what you feel and see with your eyes - not an effect that comes about through a press of a button or clever choice of software - what you're after has been around forever, the electornic or programable ones you mention a mere few weeks by comparison...with a subsequant electronic fake looking end result

  2. Hmmmm... what do I say to that ?
well considering your preferences of "real", un edited images, I "hear" where you are coming from but I got 2 emails from viewers suggesting to use either Photoshop or GIMP I wil try both one day
Ever since I saw a magnificent example in this gallery in Knysna
I would love to try it one day when I am released from this blog :)

  3. Don't forget to tell us where you go after you're "released". I can feel the warmth just coming through these photos. Hope you had a good weekend.

  4. Oh I will Helen and yes it was a great and hot weekend
